The parade is passing. The dogs are barking. Everything is falling apart. Some folks see this and are horrified. Not many are helping, though. The kids see it, but they can't seem to get the attention of those in charge who only want to haggle over contracts, prices, whatever. And the artist who can supposedly turn a mirror on society so that it sees what's happening is out painting pretty landscapes. I did this about 3 years ago, wanting to do a mural, and to learn how to paint people. I figured if I can paint one person, I ought to be able to paint 50, right?
